Shortly following 11 a.m. this Monday, a dump truck which was traveling on the E19 in the Mons-Brussels direction hit a buffer truck which was signaling a mobile construction site near Obourg. It would have been deviated from its trajectory for reasons still unknown, throwing the buffer vehicle several meters onto the hard shoulder and into the grass.
According to our colleagues from L’Avenir, firefighters and an ambulance were sent to the scene, which was marked out.
At 3:30 p.m., the passage is difficult near Obourg confirms the Federal Police, which causes major traffic disruptions upstream. There are more than 7 km of traffic jams. Motorists must wait and lose a little more than 30 minutes to get through this difficulty in the direction of Brussels (E19) / Namur (E42).
