After a first humanitarian convoy on Saturday, seventeen aid trucks returned to Gaza this Sunday through the Rafah post, on the Egyptian border. “UN humanitarian aid containing only water, food and medical equipment was transported to the southern Gaza Strip today through the Rafah crossing,” said the Israeli Defense Ministry body overseeing civilian activities in the Palestinian territories.
Furthermore, several tank trucks have transported fuel in a tank located in the crossing point, said the press service of the administration of the Palestinian part of the crossing. Three tankers were authorized on October 16 to transport fuel from Rafah to two hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
