Afterwards: “Pratersterne” and “Good Night Austria”
Vienna (OTS) – In “Welcome Austria” on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Stermann and Grissemann welcome the grand master of bizarre entertainment and a figurehead of Austrian breakfast television at 10 p.m. on ORF 1: Helge Schneider and Lukas Schweighofer. In addition, the autumn holidays are just around the corner and therefore the perfect time for a worst-of-thermal reviews and the “Welcome Austria” think tank is presenting brand new ORF show formats before “Die Tuesday Night Chapel” in the Marx Palast plays the final number as usual. At 11 p.m. the “Prater Stars” light up THE NIGHT when Hosea Ratschiller welcomes Gery Seidl, Tereza Hossa, Josef Jöchl and Yasmo & die Klangkantine to the stand-up stage of the Vienna Fluc. Afterwards at 11.30 p.m. there will be a dacapo with “Good Night Austria”.
“Welcome Austria” with Stermann & Grissemann at 10 p.m
Helge Schneider will soon be publishing his new novel “Tepptanz”: Inspector Schneider is once once more following a hot lead that leads him to encounter grotesque characters and absurd situations. In a talk with Stermann and Grissemann, he reveals whether the similarity in name between the “intelligent criminal Grismann” and one of the “Welcome Austria” presenters is no coincidence and which projects the author, entertainer, musician, comedian and illustrator of his own books have in the pipeline . Or not, because Helge Schneider is a dadaist comedy grab bag.
The supreme discipline of all TV presenters is the live show. The ORF sports and “Guten Morgen Österreich” presenter Lukas Schweighofer will be presenting the new ORF 1 main evening show “Here the music plays” together with Katharina Straßer from November 3rd. In the “Welcome Austria” talk, he reveals what to expect and whether he has finally swapped breakfast television for primetime.
“Pratersterne” at 11 p.m
Hosea Ratschiller welcomes his colleague Gery Seidl, who humorously describes his recent skiing experiences. Tereza Hossa, cabaret artist, slam poet and self-proclaimed “goddamn bon vivant”, takes aim at “positive psychology”. The Tyrolean cabaret artist Josef Jöchl reveals in an almost investigative manner how Vienna actually got the title “Most Beautiful City in the World”. And the musical climax and conclusion is provided by Yasmo & the Klangkantine.
