But it’s not just the couple that shines, a piece of jewelry on Yvonne’s ring finger also catches the eye – and represents something really big! Fabian Kahl quietly and secretly got engaged to his girlfriend five months ago.
In May 2023, the two were vacationing in the Dominican Republic when the art dealer got down on his knees one evening as the sun set. “I had a bit of an idea that something was coming and I said ‘yes’ straight away. “He had always made such slight hints before,” remembers Yvonne.

Fabian Kahl got the golden yellow diamond for the ring when he was clearing out a house and knew immediately “that it should be for the engagement ring”. He had the ring made specifically for the stone. “I then had him with me for a long time until I made the proposal. Then I just waited for the right moment.”
