Viktorija Golubic (WTA 87) keeps winning! After her successes in Tokyo in September and in Rouen last week, the Zurich native won the ITF tournament in Shrewsbury.
In the English city of Shropshire, Viktorija Golubic beat… 6-0 6-0 the British Armani Blanks (WTA 432) in a one-sided final. Seeded No. 1 in the table, the Zurich native held her position perfectly to win her final with a perfect score in 58 minutes.
Thanks to a new title, Viktorija Golubic will win in the next WTA ranking. But at Shrewsbury, she especially gained confidence before the final of the Billie Jean King Cup which will begin on November 7 in Seville. It will be remembered that Switzerland is the defending champion.
