David and Victoria first met in 1997 – she was “Posh Spice” and he was an aspiring football talent. A year following they got together, Victoria’s engagement and pregnancy with Brooklyn followed. But the first scandal didn’t take long to come. David Beckham’s assistant Rebecca Loos (46) publicly claimed in 2004 that she had an affair with him. In the recently released Netflix documentary, the couple spoke for the first time regarding the alleged infidelity.

Now his alleged ex-lover speaks out: “He constantly talks regarding being such a poor guy. “He should take responsibility,” she complains in an interview with the British Mail on Sunday.
“Of course he can say whatever he wants, and I understand that he has to maintain an image,” Loos continues. But the footballer mightn’t do this at their expense: “He portrays himself as a victim and makes me look like a liar, as if I had made up these stories.” In fact, the 46-year-old would have preferred if he hadn’t talked regarding this point in her life at all. No wonder. After a brief period of fame that landed her on magazine covers, she became the subject of a shitstorm – she was insulted and called a liar. Meanwhile, the Beckhams have blossomed back into the celebrity dream couple.
Rebecca Loos lives in seclusion
Today Rebecca Loos is happily married, has two children and has lived in seclusion in Norway for 14 years, where she teaches yoga and works as a medical assistant. “It’s not like in England here, it’s much less judgmental,” she says happily. In the past, people took photos of her because of the headlines – sometimes they unscrupulously held their cell phones in her face. «The people are cool here. They do not care.”
