New Delhi: India has helped the Palestinian people as the Israel-Hamas war escalates. An Air Force plane left for Gaza with life-saving drugs, beds and other aid. The air force will reach Gaza through Egypt’s Rafah border.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated that 38.5 tons of essential items such as life-saving medicines, surgical equipment, tents, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, sanitary items and water purification tablets are being delivered to Gaza. This is India’s first aid since the Israel-Hamas conflict started on October 7.

The Air Force’s largest cargo plane arrives in Gaza. With this, India also joins the ranks of rare non-Arab countries that come with aid to Palestine.
