The René-Douce room was full: the public came in large numbers to attend the first show of The takeoff of the cultural season of Carcassonne Agglo: The art of accommodating leftovers. In the introduction, Frédéric Raynier was delighted with this large audience made possible by the agreement between three associations: Avec, the Cabardès twinning committee and the Léo-Lagrange club in Ventenac.

This original puppet show featuring two human-sized puppets enchanted the audience, both adults and children who sat on the floor facing the stage, their eyes glued to these strange grannies.

The actresses Esther and Rebecca Marlot and Emmanuelle Ader, in turn, singers and musicians, were able to pay homage with emotion and sensitivity to old age and the popular songs of Sicily. They left no spectator indifferent. Loud applause demonstrated this.

A great performance appreciated by those present, association representatives and elected officials, including Mayor Jean Martel, his counterpart in Moussoulens, Gérard Vallier and his deputy Marie-Cécile Micouleau.

The evening continued with a meal with Italian accents organized by the twinning committee. Bravo to the artists, congratulations to all the organizers, to the volunteers including Marie-Claude Curbières, co-president of the committee, very involved in the preparation of this evening.
