Rafal Straczek: 2/10
He didn’t have to do anything special until this restart in the 32nd minute which should have been ordinary, a big ball thrown since no teammate was standing out in front of him. He picked and missed a pass to Ignatenko that turned into an offering for Lopy. His second big blunder of the season following Grenoble (2-0, 9th day). A hazardous pass and a blocked clearance (69th). Two interventions on his line at the end of the game, but it is difficult to see how the staff might not at least question his status as…

Two interventions on his line at the end of the game, but it is difficult to see how the staff might not at least question his starting status.
Clement Michelin: 5/10
In Albert Riera’s hybrid system, he was right axial when Bordeaux had possession, and lateral in the defensive phase. We therefore did not see him move forward. Rather sober. Passive on the second Angevin goal but it is difficult to see what he might have done differently. More daring as the match progressed, when Bordeaux pushed, and a lot of work on the opposing counterattacks at the end of the game.
Stian Gregersen : 5/10
In control and authoritative throughout the match. He did not have to work particularly hard in a game where Angers did not appear dangerous apart from his two goals in stoppage time, on the counterattacks. Helpless on the second goal. Frustrating.
Yoann Barbet (c): 5/10
A scathing pass for Diaz (39th) was his only real ambitious recovery of the entire meeting. For the rest, he was sober and efficient. On the defensive level, the same observation as his partner in the hinge, except that he was a little less imperial in the management of opposing counterattacks.
Vital Structure : 6/1
Back following a month and a half of absence, he was a left midfielder with the ball. He attempted a few tumbles and helped to stretch the Angevin block, even if we are still far from the player who tormented opponents in his left lane last season. A good cross for Weissbeck (28th), two others for Davitashvili (69th), and a quickly played touch which brings Bordeaux’s biggest chance of the first period (45th + 3). He’s back on track.
Danylo Ignatenko : 3/10
He brings impact to the duel, recovers a few balls. But he always makes too many technical errors like his two losses in front of his box (26th, 30th) when he was not under pressure. This becomes really problematic, especially since it is the first relay in the recovery and construction phases. A good shot on target (23rd) and a little more reliability. Replaced by Yohan Cassubie (73e).
Pedro Diaz: 6/10
Left midfielder without the ball, central relay player with. Almost everything he does is interesting. Good directions and a strong end to the first period with a subtle deviation on a transition (39th), a rush forward concluded by a blocked shot (42nd) and a cross back for Weissbeck which might have been a decisive pass ( 45th+3). More discreet following rest, but still close to the action. Big downside: he lets Ferhat slip away on the action of SCO’s second goal (60th). Replaced by Mathias De Amorim (90e+1).
Jérémy Livolant: 3/10
Apart from a good cross (39th), we didn’t see him in the first period. He certainly played a little lower than usual, but that is not enough to explain such low production, despite commendable efforts in replacement and counter-pressing. Still absent in the construction following returning from the locker room, but two good crosses (58th, 71st) including a second which might have been decisive if Weissbeck had been more effective. We still expect much more. Relayed by From Lima (73e).
Zuriko Davitashvili : 7/10
He discovered a very central position, like a playmaker, and he wandered between the lines a lot. He was very often touched by his teammates and disrupted the Angevin block, like this call which allowed him to send a good cross back (77th). An indirect danger until this strike which he must at least target from the entrance to the area (69th). A superb service for Vipotnik (82nd). In the other direction, a good return to avoid an opposing strike at the entrance to the area (17th). To review.
Gaétan Weissbeck : 4/10
He played really high, almost at the same level as Badji. Invisible for half an hour, he found a little light once more when he went down half a notch. His weight in the construction is still too low, but he accumulates a spectacular number of opportunities: he stumbles twice on Fofana (45th + 3, 80th), does not score a shot (71st) nor a header (83rd), and misses a check in a good position (77th). It’s getting closer. But he embodied Bordeaux’s lack of efficiency at Raymond-Kopa.
Aliou Badji: 3/10
Totally invisible and ineffective on the attacking front, where he provided neither support, nor solution in the surface, nor in stalling. Not even half an opportunity to get your teeth into. He still lacks confidence. His rating would have been harsher if he had not shown good spirit in the defensive efforts. Replaced by Zan Vipotnik (62nd) who, following a good sequence to get into position, forces Fofana to take a nice break (82nd).
