The commercial employee who last Wednesday murdered a relative of a 15-year-old student who argued with her daughter at a school in Moreno, was finally captured by the Police when he was regarding to escape to the province of Misiones.

Oscar Ferreyra (38) was being sought for the murder of Andrés Acuña (32), which occurred at the door of Secondary School 1, located at 2175 Beazley Street, in the La Matanza district.

Investigators tracked the defendant’s cell phone and detected that hours following the crime he contacted his employer to resign from his job and asked for a salary settlement.

Ferreyra worked at the “Spare Parts Mercedes Benz” spare parts house, located on 780 Warnes Avenue, in the city of Buenos Aires.

After collecting his salary, he wandered around the City until he was located in the town of San Justo, near a long-distance bus terminal. According to spokesmen, discreet surveillance was mounted in the area until they managed to locate and arrest him.

What they suspect is that he was looking to take a bus to return to the province of Misiones, where he lived until 2021.

According to sources, the alleged perpetrator of the Acuña crime was housed in a police unit at the disposal of prosecutor Forlino, who will investigate him in the next few hours.

One of the hypotheses of the investigation is that the attacker picked the wrong person and instead of killing the girl’s father – who at that moment was meeting at the address – he mistakenly murdered the uncle who was waiting outside.

Both families had been summoned to school by the authorities due to constant conflicts between two 15-year-old students.

The sources explained that the problem between the two families has its origins in a long-standing conflict within the school. Apparently, one of the teenagers harassed and threatened the other. As a result, the school authorities summoned the relatives of both students.

However, it was possible to reconstruct that the Acuña and Ferreyra brothers also had neighborhood problems between them, which had repercussions on the adolescents.

According to the investigation, Acuña got out of a car and began to confront Ferreyra at the school door. At one point, the attacker pulled out a gun and fired two shots at him at close range, following which he fled.

Autopsy. The victim’s body was transferred to the Moreno judicial morgue for an autopsy. According to the first information, Acuña died as a result of two 22-caliber bullet wounds that he received in the left hemithorax and the left pubic area.

The projectiles might be rescued during the operation, so they can be used for future comparisons, sources said.
