When all the teams are dedicating themselves to cutting players –the normal thing to stay at 15 contracts–, the Lakers have surprised that a last minute contract, that of guard 27 year old Quinndary Weatherspoon.
As reported by Chris B. Haynes of Bleacher Report and confirmed shortly following by the Californian organization, the Angelenos have closed this signing following seeing the guard’s fantastic performance during the NBA preseason, in which he has participated in two games with the Israeli team Maccabee Ra’anana to average 15.5 points with 52 percent in field goals and 40 percent in triples. At the same time, they have released forward Louis King.
The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Quinndary Weatherspoon.
Additionally, the Lakers have requested waivers on forward Louis King.
