Many emergency services were and are on duty in the Prameter district of Feitzing, Ried district, on Thursday evening. Michael Bauer, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, confirmed the accident when asked by OÖN. “The helicopter overturned while landing south of Pramet. All six people who were in the helicopter during this training flight were able to save themselves. There were two pilots, a technician and three air rescuers on board. According to initial information, at least one person was injured “The emergency doctor is on site,” said Bauer. The helicopter is an Agusta Bell 212.
“The rescue chain was immediately set in motion; the fire brigade, rescue and police are currently at the scene of the accident. The accident commission of the Upper Austria military command is on the way to the scene of the accident. No other people were involved in the accident,” says an APA release from the Federal Army .
