Due to the tense security situation, no UEFA international games will kick off in Israel “until further notice”.

The Swiss national team is also affected by the decision, which was to be expected. The European Championship qualifier once morest Israel, which was originally supposed to take place in Tel Aviv on October 12th, was postponed a few days ago to November 15th. It is not yet clear where the game will take place.

The two Israeli clubs Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv are also affected by the decision. Haifa will play in the Europa League on December 6th at Villarreal FC instead of October 26th.
