A student at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom who moved with the help of his parents into a hotel room reserved by his college, while waiting for work to be completed on his blocks, was said to have been left speechless when he discovered a woman in lingerie on her bed.
“As we left the room [voisine]we might hear loud sex – and 20 minutes later, we saw a man leaving the corridor,” a young witness reportedly told the student newspaper “Cherwell,” according to what “The Telegraph” reported on Wednesday.
Due to construction work in its student accommodation blocks, New College, one of the colleges of the University of Oxford, has reportedly decided to move some third year students to the Leonardo Royal Hotel for the session, a reported the British media.
However, one of them, who moved in with the help of his parents, would have had quite a surprise when he came face to face with “a woman sitting on the bed in lingerie” in his temporary accommodation, even if the entire corridor had however been reserved by the college.
Employees then reportedly confirmed that the woman had reserved the room between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
While waiting to sort out the situation, the student and his parents waited outside the room, while several other clients of the prostitute entered and left, other students testified.
For their part, New College and the hotel concerned would have “immediately and collectively” resolved the situation by declaring that they had taken “all precautions to avoid a repeat [de la situation]», Assured a spokesperson for the college to the “Telegraph”.
Leonardo Hotels, for their part, announced in a press release “to fully investigate the allegations” while apologizing “sincerely for any distress this may have caused”, once more according to the same newspaper.
