This webconference presents the results of the evaluation of the implementation and short-term effects of Quebec’s Digital Suicide Prevention Strategy (SNPS) and its web platform suicide.ca. The following are discussed: the prevention model, user characteristics, user perceptions regarding the My Tools platform and application, as well as the points of view of mental health stakeholders.

Résumé : In Quebec, we see that around three people end their lives every day, despite a decline observed since the 2000s. Several partners have engaged in suicide prevention efforts, thus contributing to the reduction of suicide rates. However, it is imperative to implement additional actions to more effectively reach people vulnerable to suicide who are not reached by existing services. Over the years, many countries have adopted digital approaches to better reach this population. It is in this context that the Ministry of Health and Social Services has tasked the Quebec Suicide Prevention Association (AQPS) with designing a Digital Suicide Prevention Strategy (SNPS).
