It’s definitely a black streak for artists who perform on stage. A few weeks ago, Pierre Arditi was the victim of illness at the theater while he was playing Lapin, his new play, in which he shares the stage with Muriel Robin. “I had vagal discomfort. I lost consciousness, so I don’t remember anything, of course. I remember hesitating for a few seconds, saying to myself “but what should I do? do”, and then poof, I collapsed. I was taken to the hospital”, he confided to Télé-Loisirs on this subject. Yesterday, Tuesday October 17, it was Maxime Le Forestier who caused concern following fainting during the performance. His producer, however, was reassuring, the singer was due to return on stage this evening. But this time it was Salvatore Adamo, who had to cancel a concert at the last minute.
Salvatore Adamo’s manager reassures regarding his state of health
While he was preparing to sell out on the stage of the Grand Rex in Paris, the interpreter of Tombe la neige had to cancel his concert at the last minute. “For health reasons, the Salvatore Adamo concert must be postponed to Monday January 29, 2024 at 8 p.m.,” the performance hall simply announced on its website. “For safety, examinations are underway”, specifies, for its part, the singer’s official account on Facebook. But his manager Virginie Borgeaud-Bigot wanted to reassure the singer’s fans in the columns of Parisian, nothing alarming. “Salvatore is unwell and was unable to go on stage tonight, but it’s not serious. We are awaiting the results of his medical tests, but he is not hospitalized. He is at home in Paris. There is particularly a lot of stress linked to the events of recent days and to his song Inch’Allah,” she explained. She also notes that the artist’s next concert scheduled for this Sunday in Roubaix will take place, “just like his anniversary tour in Belgium, which will begin on the 27th in Mons.”

The singer had already had to cancel dates
Last year, the singer had already had to cancel several concerts following losing his voice following an accident that may have seemed trivial. “A few weeks ago, I was in Santiago, Chile for a concert. My sister and I were walking on the city’s largest avenue and we came across demonstrators. Suddenly, I saw them arriving over us like a cloud. I didn’t know it but it was tear gas. I had never breathed it before and I must say that, at the time, the burn was atrocious,” he told the newspaper Belgian Le Soir. Without realizing the devastating effects of the gas, Salvatore Adamo sang anyway, which had unforeseen consequences. “The combination of these two factors, the gas and the vocal performance, made me completely speechless for several weeks!”, he explained.
