SALEM, MA — North Shore students interested in ocean and marine exploration are invited to a Salem Sound Coastwatch “Our Giving Ocean” event next month to learn how coastal residents have interacted with the ocean through the years.
The event is open to children 4 to 8 years old and their families and includes a take-home craft kit.

The two events are on Nov. 4 and Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Salem Sound Coastwatch offices on Federal Street in Salem.
Advanced registration is required here with child participation $10 each with an accompanying adult (adult admission is free).
