Geneva’s Lombard Odier Appoints Former UBS Employee Ali Janoudi as Head of New Markets, Focusing on the Middle East

Geneva (awp) – The private bank Lombard Odier has appointed Ali Janoudi, a former UBS employee, as head of the New Markets region, the Geneva establishment told AWP, thus confirming information revealed on the information site Finews.ch. He will take office on April 1, 2024.

Mr. Janoudi will be responsible for strengthening the bank’s positioning, particularly in the Middle East. He will join the Executive Committee for Private Clients and report to managing partner Frederic Rochat, details the banking group.

For the past 13 years, he has been responsible for the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions within the UBS banking group.

He will succeed Arnaud Leclercq, who has contributed to the development of Lombard Odier’s activities in the Middle East for 17 years and will now be responsible for supporting key clients and supporting the bank’s commercial development in the region.

This is the second appointment announced in less than a week. On Monday, Lombard Odier confirmed that of Sabine Keller, new head of the Zurich office.
