On October 17, the Tunisian president dismissed the Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Saïed, et instructed the Minister of Finance to take over the interim, announced the Presidency of the Republic without donner explanations.

In Tunisia, Kaïs Saïed puts pressure on entrepreneurs

In a brief statement published on its official page, the presidency indicated that the leader of the State “decided to terminate the functions of the Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Said ».

The Minister of Finance, Sihem Boughdiri, is responsible for “provisionally” ensuring her interim role, added the press release without giving plus details.

Deep crisis
