Dubai, October 18, 2018 (WAM): During its participation in GITEX this year, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is displaying 20 innovations, 13 of which are new and 7 are updated.
The projects being reviewed include many innovative digital initiatives and services, and DEWA Digital projects and solutions, the Authority’s digital arm.
The Authority’s platform highlights robotic solutions supported by artificial intelligence, the Authority’s virtual employee “Ramas,” the “Divaverse” platform, artificial intelligence technology for recognizing faces and emotions to enhance customer happiness, the Digital Identity Security Center, and the Cybersecurity Innovations Laboratory, in addition to many other initiatives.
Speaking to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, Dr. Ali Al Suwaidi, Head of Innovation at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said, “The projects being reviewed relate to the main processes and associated and digital processes.”
He pointed out that the services provided by the Authority are divided into 3 categories. They are either intended for customers, partners, or employees of the Authority themselves.
Regarding the most prominent special services used by customers, he pointed to the virtual employee service “Rammas” using “GPT chat” technology, pointing out that “DEWA” is the first service entity around the world to use this technology for its customers.
He reported that the Authority reached 96% customer satisfaction with this new service.
He said, “We use artificial intelligence in several areas, including, for example, the customer happiness centers located in the Authority.”
He pointed out that they use artificial intelligence to study customer happiness, read behavior and levels of satisfaction, indicating that 99% of DEWA customers rely on digital services, and the customer satisfaction rate in general with the Authority’s services reaches 98%, pointing out that when we talk regarding this percentage through the 200 service Nationality We have exceeded expectations.
