– Adjust your diabetes medication, tablets or insulin, and do not violate its doses or timings no matter what.

For three days, commit to a diet free of sugar, fat, flour and its derivatives, and salt in the daily meals. Make it a strict regime to quickly control blood sugar levels.

If you have recently taken a new medication for any disease, or an antibiotic for example, consult your doctor regarding the possibility of stopping it to control your diabetes.

Measure your blood pressure, as it is strongly linked to sugar, and take blood pressure medication regularly if there has been an imbalance in it recently.

If you have recently introduced a certain type of drink or a new food into your diet, you should stop eating it if one of its ingredients causes a rise in sugar.

Ask your doctor regarding the possibility of adjusting your diabetes medication, as this increase may be an indication of the need to change it to another medication.
