GRAND FORKS, N.D.(UND Athletics) – After defeating North Dakota State 49-24 on Saturday, North Dakota has moved up to No. 11 in the latest Stats Perform Poll and No. 9 in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25.
In the Stats Perform Poll, South Dakota State remains the top spot with all 56 of the first-place votes. South Dakota is also in the top-10 at No. 6. North Dakota and Southern Illinois remain just outside the top-10 at No. 11 and No. 12, respectively. North Dakota State dropped to No. 14 and Youngstown State rounds out the poll at No. 25.
Six teams from the conference also appear in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Jackrabbits continue holding the top spot, followed by the Fighting Hawks at No. 9. The Salukis are No. 12 and the Bison is also in the top-15 at No. 15. The Coyotes are one spot behind the Bison at No. 16, while the Redbirds sit at No. 25.
No. 11/9 North Dakota will visit Northern Iowa at 4 p.m. this Saturday. The Panthers are receiving votes in both polls. The game on Saturday will be televised on ESPN+ and carried on the Home of Economy Radio Network.
