The Golden Ball goes on tour with France Bleu

The 67th Ballon d’Or ceremony will be held on Monday October 30 at the Théâtre du Châtelet. Before the winners of this new edition are revealed, the coveted trophy will be presented in Marseille, Lens and Saint-Etienne in partnership with France Bleu and France Football.

While there is almost no doubt that Lionel Messi will be the next Ballon d’Or, his 8th, the trophy will, before the official evening in Paris on October 30, tour Lens, Marseille and Saint-Etienne.

So, Friday October 20, at the Lens-Liévin tourist office, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the public will be able to discover this award on display within the Tourist Office and take a photo of themselves with the trophy via a photocall. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., a special “Ballon d’or” broadcast, in partnership with Voix du Nord, will take place live on France Bleu Nord, from the studio specially installed in the heart of the tourist office. Throughout the followingnoon, the public will also be able to play at the France Bleu gift terminal.

Two days before, Wednesday October 18, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., France Bleu Provence and the City of Marseillein partnership with La Provence, will be at the Stade Delort for sporting events, in the presence of Emmanuel Bojan, deputy editor-in-chief of France Football.

And from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday October 23, in partnership with Le Progrès, the entire France Bleu Saint-Étienne-Loire team will be at the Brasserie Geoffroy Guichard, in the heart of the stadium, for entertainment with Vincent Garcia, editor-in-chief of France Football. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., follow “100% Sainté Spéciale Ballon d’Or” live on France Bleu Saint-Étienne-Loire.
