Promoting Campus Health: WVU School of Nursing Seniors Provide Education and Supplies

During their weekly clinical rotation at the Student Health Center, WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus seniors provide education and supplies to keep folks on campus healthy during the fall season.

These students, who are enrolled in NSG 411, speak with students, faculty and staff across campus to provide education and giveaways, such as fresh produce, hand sanitizer and tissues. Led by Dr. Diana Nilandtheir goal is to help prevent upper respiratory infections that are prevalent this time of year.

“We are so proud of the work Dr. Niland and the students are doing to promote primary prevention, health and wellness across our campus community,” said Dr. April ShapiroKeyser Campus Chair.

Dr. Niland added, “I am so proud of our senior nursing students and their dedication to share their knowledge with our Potomac State College campus.”
