Increasing aggressiveness and violent attacks – SPÖ and neos continue to look away

Vienna (OTS) There was an attack among Afghan young people in a park in Leopoldstadt last night. “We are seeing increasing aggressiveness in many areas of the city – the Viennese no longer feel safe in parts of Vienna,” said local councilor Hannes Taborsky, Viennese security spokesman

“The Vienna police provide a great service for the people of Vienna. But we have seen how the Viennese SPÖ has consistently turned a blind eye to rising case numbers for years. “The police can only mitigate the symptoms of a lack of action by the city government and act as a ‘fire extinguisher’,” said Taborsky and continued:
“The proposals from the Vienna SPÖ at the federal party conference regarding citizenship also show once once more that the problems in Vienna are neither taken seriously nor even understood. SPÖ and neos must finally stop turning a blind eye to the real problems in Vienna,” concluded Taborsky.
