Julio César de León gave the scare. One of the most prominent legionnaires that Honduras has ever had had to receive emergency treatment at a health center following fainting.

The 44-year-old former soccer player and now coach worried those close to him because of severe pain caused by kidney stones that made him faint.

According to information from journalist Carlos Hernández, Rambo had to go to a hospital to be evaluated, but fortunately he is already in the recovery process.

Catracho fans have expressed their support for the former national team through social networks and encourage him so that he can get relief as soon as possible.

RAMBO’S NEW LIFE

This news comes just when Rambo was confirmed a few days ago to join the technical part that will be training the country’s children through CONDEPOR.

Ramón Maradiaga, coach of the UPNFM Lobos and general coordinator of the sports part of CONDEPOR, was in charge of ‘signing’ Julio César with the intention that he can produce better talents. In addition to this position, he has his Academy in Puerto Cortés.

Mario Moncada, commissioner of said State institution, was very satisfied with Rambo’s involvement with the technical staff.

“Your vast knowledge acquired in the successful career that you had as a soccer player is an inspiration for thousands of children, young people and adults who admire you. We hope that your experience and leadership in our institution will be enriching both for you and for all those who will learn from you,” he noted.

At the end of April of this year, Rambo announced that he was retiring from football, with Atlético Júnior de El Negrito, Yoro, of the Honduras Promotion League, being his last adventure. He played for a total of 25 clubs, being the Catracho player with the most teams in his sporting career.
