This Saturday, around 6:40 p.m., a patrol from the Seraing/Neupré police zone came to the aid of a lady who was in front of the roundregarding located near the Hubo de Seraing, avenue de la Concorde. The young woman seems distraught: she is crying and hurt.
The police take charge of her and interview her. She indicates that she was in the car with her partner when an argument broke out. She then received blows. A certificate indicates injuries requiring 14 days of work interruption!
The spouse was intercepted and questioned this Sunday morning. He denies it outright.
The police, however, realized that 3 weeks ago, a case had been initiated by the Flémalle police zone, with whom the victim’s parents had filed a complaint. At the time, they said their daughter was the victim of beatings. The couple does not live together.
The suspect, a 21-year-old Seresian, was referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office where the magistrate gave him an accelerated summons for December 1st. He has no criminal record.
