X2 and iX2: BMW takes a two-pronged approach to drive

The border lights up (Iconic Glow) for an additional charge. The SUV coupe, which BMW calls Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), grew in length by 19.4 centimeters to 4.55 meters, the width of the X2 increased by 2.1 centimeters to 1.85 meters, and in height by 6.4 centimeters to 1.59 meters. The beneficiaries of the increase include the passengers as well as the trunk volume, which now ranges from 560 to 1470 liters. The Stromer takes 525 to 1400 liters.

The roof tapers towards the rear, but the X2 has distinctive shoulders at the back. The M version stands out with its two twin exhaust tailpipes. Two solid and eleven metallic colors are available for the body paint, including the new Fire Red metallic variant.

The curved display found its way into the X2, in which four USB-C ports also provide power.

The electric motor in the iX2 produces 140 kW (190 hp), and the 64.7 kWh battery supplies energy for 417 to 449 kilometers. The three-cylinder with its 115 kW (156 hp) is supported in the 20i by a mild hybrid system with 14 kW (19 hp). The M35i produces 231 kW (300 hp), the turbodiesel 18d 110 kW (150 hp). Starting price: 46,550 euros (20i) or 47,400 euros (iX2 20)
