Remember that last week, CEGEP teachers demanded that the Order of Nurses of Quebec (OIIQ) be placed under supervision, accusing it of having broken the bond of trust with students and the public that it is supposed to protect.
The third progress report published by the Commissioner for Admission to Professions, André Gariépy, is the straw that broke the camel’s back.
The latter underlined that the massive failure of future nurses in the compulsory entrance exam to the profession, which occurred last year, was not due to the pandemic, as the Order claims, but to the way in which the exam is corrected.
