Strong emotion this Wednesday evening in Anderlecht: at the bottom of rue Wayez, next to the Cureghem roundregarding, a young Anderlecht resident aged 8 was hit by a tram 81.

The first testimonies tell us regarding the formation of a crowd in the minutes following the accident, “because of the shock and the emotion”. The victim was transferred to hospital. According to the first information coming back to us, his life is not in danger.
Two months ago almost to the day, a pedestrian was dragged several meters following a collision with a tram 81, still on the same street but in a different location. An accident which had relaunched the debate on the recent developments of this Anderlecht shopping street.
