You know when you’re listening to an album or a playlist and you’re always trying to remember/guess which song will be next? It was with this almost universal experience in mind that the developer Aditya Rajveer created the application LivePodwhich offers a kind of “solution” to the situation described.
Basically, the purpose of the application is to show, with the help of Live Activities (Live Activities)what is the next song in the queue to be played on the Apple Music while you are listening to songs on the app. Although it doesn’t work with other streaming services or applications (for now), the mechanics are quite simple, with the name of the song, the artist and the song’s album cover being displayed.
As soon as you start listening to a song, the next one in the queue is automatically displayed. On the locked screen, the display is similar to a notification, just below the media controls, in addition to also showing the album cover on the screen. Dynamic Island (Dynamic Island) — in the case of iPhones 14 Pro/14 Pro Max, as well as iPhones 15 — and in mode On hold (StandBy).
Unfortunately, the app has some limitations in its free version. Among them, only 200 updates are shown unless you purchase the paid version, which costs R$15. When purchasing, you also have access to features such as notifications when changing tracks.
In any case, it’s worth downloading the app and trying out the simple but interesting feature offered by the solution. In addition to Live Activities, there is a background sound feature, in order to make the user experience even more complete.
What did you think? ????????
