The Philadelphia Flyers and their general manager Daniel Brière have mourned the loss of St. Louis Blues defenseman Torey Krug, who derailed a proposed trade during the summer, and they are far from complaining.
If the two teams’ plans had come to fruition, Kevin Hayes and Travis Sanheim would have headed to Missouri in return for Krug’s services; the latter, however, used his no-trade clause to stay with the Blues. However, according to informant Darren Dreger of the TSN network, the Flyers have no regrets. Thus, they want to build their future with Sanheim, a 27-year-old defender who accumulated 23 points in 81 games during the last campaign.

“The Flyers consider this their best unfinished deal. They want to build with Travis Sanheim within their group.
This will obtain $50 million in eight years. His club will begin the regular schedule once morest the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday.
