The application Bluesky is receiving a new update with interesting news in terms of security. In this sense, he is starting to gain resources such as the possibility of email verification, change of registered addressnotices links that may be misleading and more.
Available at version 1.52 for iOS, the rival of X (formerly Twitter) should notify its users in the coming days regarding email verification. After carrying out this action, any modification made to the account will require a code sent to the address registered on the social network app.
Still regarding the email address, Bluesky users also have the option to change it, if they wish. Both options appear very close together within the application settings. Not only that, but the addition of the warning for links considered potentially misleading is also worth mentioning.
In this case, the platform starts to issue an alert when the link does not match the text in the post. In this way, it offers the person the possibility of not continuing access to the portal. So, at least in terms of security, the network seems to be strengthening itself.
