That’s it: with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 releasing in a month, almost to the day, Xbox and PC players will finally be able to get a first idea of what the game is worth with access to the beta. In this article, we explain how to play it, what to expect, and we look at the duration of this beta phase.
Modern Warfare 3 Beta, access in two stages!
As we just told you, if Xbox and PC players have not yet been able to get their hands on the beta of Modern Warfare 3this is not the case for PlayStation players who have been able to enjoy it for a little week now, even though there was a 2 day break between the two betas.
Except that even the beta phase open to all consoles is divided in two! The first phase will take place from October 12 to 13 (7 p.m. each time), and at that time only players who have pre-ordered the game will be able to access the servers and test it for the first time.
If you ordered the game in its digital version, you will not have to do anything, and you will be automatically registered. All you have to do is download the beta and enjoy. If you ordered a physical version, on the other hand, you will have a code on your receipt.
Then go to this page and enter it. Validate, and you should be given access to the beta. All you have to do is download the game and participate. Finally, if you haven’t pre-ordered the game, you will have to wait until October 14 (still at 7 p.m.) to be able to benefit from it.
What game modes and maps are available?
Now that we have seen how to enter this beta phase, it is time to look at the content of these. Know that of course, Not all game modes and maps will be accessible! For that, you will have to wait for the final release.
However, for the launch of this beta phase of MW3, we will still be entitled to 4 game modes in 6v6. In addition to this, a fifth will be added during the open beta phase. We invite you to find the details below:
