Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and Hamas Conflict: Latest Updates and Infiltration Concerns

Jerusalem: The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has asked the Palestinian people of Gaza to go to Egypt. The order follows last night’s bomb blast across Gaza. But this proposal was immediately withdrawn by the Israeli army. This is following Egypt closed the border.

Rafa border to Ejt is open. We advise those who want to get out to choose that route,’ Israeli army spokesman Lt. Col. Richard Hecht had initially suggested. This was immediately withdrawn.

The Israeli military claimed to have carried out airstrikes on 200 targets in Gaza last night, including those of Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups. The IDF said it destroyed the homes and hideouts of Hamas leaders.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army also claimed to have fully regained control of the Gaza border. There has been no infiltration attack through the Gaza border in the past day. The army also stated that it is taking steps to restore the border fences destroyed by Hamas. Engineering units of the army have been sent here.

But this is not the only way Hamas has used for infiltration, which has made Israel worried. Hamas infiltrated by sea and paragliders on Saturday. Although it would be difficult to reuse those methods, Israel is not ruling out the possibility of entering through tunnels. The BBC reported that Israel has not completely captured the infiltrators who entered southern Israel.

In the meantime, the bodies of regarding 1,500 Hamas armed group members who infiltrated and attacked have been recovered, citing the Israeli army, the AP news agency reported. All Israeli citizens near the Gaza Strip have also been relocated.
