MOSTAGANEM – Executives of the Company “Electrcité de Guinée” (EDG) displayed, Monday in Mostaganem, great interest in partnership and cooperation with Algerian operators, in various areas of the electrical industry and efficiency systems energy.
The deputy general director, responsible for the operation of the EDG, Fodé Soumah declared during a business meeting with executives of the economic operator GISB Electric of Mostaganem, “our company, which ensures production, transport and distribution of electrical energy in the Republic of Guinea, is currently experiencing operational problems and is seeking partners with experience and solutions in this area.
“We had a fruitful exchange with Algerian operators who have experience in the field of electricity, namely Maghreb Lampes (subsidiary of GISB) and we will carry out technical visits and inquire regarding equipment and expertise available to our Algerian counterparts to improve the quality of our services,” he further underlined.
For his part, the director of Maghreb Lampes, Mohamed Djilani Koubibi indicated that his industrial complex is interested in strengthening cooperation with economic operators in West Africa, in particular to provide companies with energy all their needs in terms of electrical products and lighting equipment and different energy systems including those of renewable energies.
“Our company is ready to satisfy the demands of its Guinean partner through the dispatch of a technical team to identify problems and propose appropriate solutions, alongside cooperation in the areas of training, maintenance, production and studies related to the improvement and efficiency of electrical energy”, he underlined.
