After experiencing incredible success with Slimane as a duo, Vitaa chose to return to his solo career. With no less than 8 pieces certified gold, diamond or platinum, Vitaa and Slimane created an absolute hit, which punctuated the daily lives of many French people during the famous Covid period. And if each has now returned to their own path, the friendship between the two artists continues.
Vitaa’s funny anecdote regarding Slimane
Alex Reed of the show “On refait la télé” on RTL, the former accomplice of Diam’s notably betrayed a little secret regarding Slimane’s upcoming participation in the show “Rendez-vous en terre stranger”. In contact with him during the trip, the interpreter of “Thousands of I love you” was obviously not very excited by his surprise destination. Vitaa says:
I got it when he found out, during the stopover, where he was going. I think he wanted the cold, so he was a little bad. Because he was going to a place where it was very hot. He absolutely wanted to do this show, so he was super happy, but I think he didn’t expect this destination. I don’t know exactly how it happens. But I know that’s not what he expected.

But, I think that sometimes, if you really want to stay on something good, it’s good to know how to stop. Will we then collaborate together once more? This is a question we asked ourselves. We don’t prohibit it at all. » There is really no one in this industry with whom I am as close as Slimane. So it is not excluded.
