The Brussels public prosecutor’s office has opened a judicial investigation concerning workers at the public company bpost following contracts concluded with the FPS Mobility, Finance and Justice, L’Echo reported on Saturday.
The prosecution is closely interested in the three contracts concluded between bpost and different SPFs, as well as in the practices of certain (ex-) bpost workers involved in these contracts. The prosecution, which did not wish to comment on this information, only confirmed that an investigation was indeed underway, at the judicial information stage.
These markets concern the production and distribution of number plates (on behalf of the FPS Mobility), the market for administrative management and the collection of road fines (for the FPS Justice) and the market for the management of a series of bank accounts for the State – accounts 679 (for the FPS Finances).
