Red Dead Online still has so much wasted potential, fans say

There is no series like Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption, with its level of quality, immersion and storytelling that sets the standard.

The series began with Revolver rouge mort in 2004, a fun but very linear experience, especially compared to the games that followed. So when Red Dead Redemption Arriving in 2010, it allowed us to live our best Wild West fantasy life like never before. Well, that was until the arrival of Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018.

Furthermore, the introduction of Red Dead en ligne in the 2010 game, let fans experience the Wild West with friends, even if those friends would likely betray you at any moment. In their defense, it was the Wild West following all.

Additionally, when a new version of GTA Online launched following the release of GTA V, this too set a new standard in online gaming. A huge open world set in the fictional city of Los Santos, with so much activity and a steady stream of content updates, it’s no wonder fans can’t get enough of its online world.

Naturally, when we learned that Red Dead Redemption 2 would also have its own online mode, fans had hoped it would at least meet the standards of GTA Online. The enthusiasm of the fans was at its peak for Red Dead en ligne. Unfortunately, this enthusiasm quickly faded.

Of course, the quality of the content for Red Dead en ligne was okay at launch, but apparently once Rockstar Games realized it wouldn’t make as much money as GTA Onlinecontent support for the mode declined quickly, certainly not to the level of its GTA counterpart.

Fans have long campaigned to “Save Red Dead en ligne ” but these attempts were largely unsuccessful, leading Rockstar Games to provide fans with recycled content. But to be fair, a new Halloween update was recently released, somewhat reminiscent of the popular expansion. Undead Nightmare.

Editors have recently discussed video games that might have made a lot of money without serious mishandling and a game that has slipped more than once is the same. Red Dead en ligne.

« Red Dead en ligne. So much potential…only to be left aside for the (much older) GTA Online“, replied K1ngPCH. “If Rockstar did something substantial to Red Dead en ligne it wouldn’t have failed,” exclaimed Ramen_Hair.

« Red Dead en ligne is, in my opinion, one of the biggest disappointments in video game history,” agreed Bobo3076. “An online, open-world Wild West experience? Developed by Rockstar? Sign me up, dammit! They had the potential to make it one of the best online games of all time, but instead they let it rot. For GTA Online Not less. What an embarrassment.

Unfortunately, at this point, it’s unlikely that Rockstar Games will ever support Red Dead en ligne as is the case with GTA Online. The best we can hope for is that loyal fans stay active so Rockstar Games doesn’t kill it dead.
