Terrible drama near Thulin this Friday morning. As reported by our colleagues at DH, when it was around 7 a.m. near the station, a 24-year-old young woman lost her life while crossing the pedestrian crossing on rue du Maieur Jean Duhot , in Thulin.
Pushing the stroller in which her child was, the young woman was unable to avoid one of the two tractors which crossed each other on the road. “D“After what I know, the two vehicles crossed paths, but one of the two had not seen the young woman crossing,” Eric Thiébaut, mayor of Hensies, told our colleagues. “Munfortunately, he was not able to avoid the lady who died on the spot.”
“One tractor stopped to let the lady cross but not the other,” confirmed the Hauts Pays police.
Miraculously, the baby escaped completely unharmed.
