In a report that RN Radio did with Alberto Wertilneck, the governor-elect commented “we have a cultural debate. If the State is at the disposal of the people of Rio Negro or if the people of Rio Negro are at the disposal of the State.” The second option is the one that is current and was installed by Weretilneck and company. Option that should never have been given.

Because I cannot find better words to describe the situation, which is currently occurring and for those who have not read it, I will transcribe the letter, “Slaves in Río Negro” which says:

“In the Province of Río Negro, the emergence of Alberto Weretilneck following the death of Carlos Soria managed to reverse the social equation that governs all democratic, free and civilized countries; Here too that equation ruled until his arrival.

In fact, Alberto Weretilneck, Arabela Carreras and their well-to-do, stocking-sucking acolytes managed to transform the free, independent citizens of Río Negro into slaves of the political profiteers, of the public employees who were there before their arrival and of the thousands which Weretineck and Carreras incorporated, many of which are gnocchi. I say slaves because independent citizens are forced to work tirelessly all day to be able to pay the ridiculous taxes (due to their high amounts), which they imposed to be able to pay for the aforementioned staff of politicians and public employees.

I say slaves because for independent citizens everything is obligation, imputation, summons, trial, auction. The independent citizens of Río Negro do not have union leaders to defend them, they do not have paid vacations, in many cases they do not have mutual insurance, nor insurance in case their work venture fails.

On the other side (of the politician) and of public employees, all are rights: paid vacations, mutual benefits in some cases more than one, insurance, a union representative who defends them, job security for life… On top of the mistakes that the aforementioned employees may make and we citizens almost always end up paying for politicians.

In any country in the world the politician and the public employee serve the citizen, in Río Negro it is the other way around. In general, citizens are good people who, working hard, earn a living.”
