BOSTON – The Boston University field hockey team will continue its long homestand when it faces New Hampshire on Friday (Oct. 6) for a non-conference matchup.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is coming off back-to-back double-overtime victories last weekend once morest Bucknell and Northeastern.
The Terriers are now 2-2 at home this season.
Friday’s matchup will mark the third of six consecutive home games. 
The Terriers are tied for third in the Patriot League with a 2-1 record.
Senior Thalia Steenssens leads the Terriers with 13 points this season on three goals and seven assists.
Steenssens was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday while junior Payton Anderson was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week.
Steenssens was later honored by Synapse Sports as the Division I Offensive Player of the Week.
Sophomore Caroline O’Brien leads the Terriers in goals with five.
Senior goalkeeper Kate Thomasen has started all 10 games for the Terriers this season and currently has a .722 save percentage and a 2.07 goals- once morest average.

SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE

The Wildcats are 8-3 overall this season, with a 4-0 record in the America East.
UNH is coming off back to back 3-2 wins last weekend once morest Bryant and Dartmouth.
Sophomore Tasmin Cookman leads the Wildcats in both goals (11) and points (25). 
Graduate student Jemma Woods has started all 11 contests for UNH and sports a 2.19 goals- once morest average and a .694 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY

Friday will mark the 48th meeting all-time between the two programs. 
The Terriers are 25-19-3 all-time once morest the Wildcats. 
The Wildcats defeated BU, 5-2, last season, snapping a six-game win streak for the Terriers once morest UNH.
The Terriers have won their last four home games once morest UNH.
