One of the few features that arrived on Apple TVs 4K with tvOS 17, the Enhance Dialogue is being expanded to work with all HomePods models already released by Apple.
The functionality, it is worth remembering, makes dialogues in series, videos and films clearer when the smart speaker of Apple is paired to your set-top box — basically separating dialogue from other sound effects or background music.
As noted by Sigmund Judge [@sigjudge] in a post on Twitter
Apple TV Enhance Dialogue is an exclusive feature when paired with HomePod (2nd Generation), but HomePod (2018) and HomePod mini owners may be in luck when tvOS 17.1 releases to the public.
After testing, it appears the feature is working in beta on previous HomePod hardware! pic.twitter.com/DPEXQGEoOq

The new option works with any app that uses the native tvOS video player and can be easily found in the sound menu located just above the playback progress bar.
As Well scored Chance Miller in the 9to5Maclet’s hope that this is not a mere bug, and that the feature is even extended to older devices.
