The photography app Halide gained a new version, designed specifically for iPhones 15 Pro e 15 Pro Max. The update has a series of features that integrate with the new action button of devices.

It can now be used to trigger in-app functions including manual focus, auto/manual exposure adjustments, RAW image capture, switching between 12- and 48-megapixel capture modes and between lenses, capturing photos, and more.

To make this possible, Halide developers created custom shortcuts. Users can easily configure it in iOS Settings. Once configured, it will automatically activate the predefined options whenever the app is in use.

During the setup process, the tool will offer guidance on how to create custom settings. Alternatively, we can choose to configure the Action button to open Halide with a single tap or display a shortcut menu.

In addition to these features, the app now allows you to capture stunning images with the 5x telephoto lens, making the most of the zero shutter lag (lag-free shooting) and other performance improvements.

Version 2.13 of Halide is available free of charge for those who already use the app. For new subscribers, there is a one-week free trial period. After that, to use the service, simply choose a subscription: R$16/month, R$63/something or R$300 (one-time).

Finally, the developers at Halide have published an annual in-depth analysis of the latest camera improvements in the iPhone 15 Pro, which you can read on the company website.
