A cat was trapped under a car in Taikoo Shing and firefighters “lost themselves” to trap it!
At regarding 1 pm today (the 4th), the kitten was hidden under a Tesla electric car in the parking lot of a Taikoo Shing housing estate. When the male car owner was regarding to pick up the car, he heard a cat meowing from the bottom of the car. He once tried to get the cat out of the car but to no avail, so he called the police for help.
The frightened kitten hid under another car
The police and firefighters arrived at the scene following receiving the report and tried to lure the kitten away. During this period, they placed cans of cat food under the car, which attracted the kitten to crawl out from under the Tesla car to eat. However, when the personnel tried to approach to rescue, the kitten hid. Under another car, firefighters were trying to free the kitten. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was also called to the scene.
