Julien* had indeed been warned, but he did not expect the disruptions to last this long. “I’ve been trying for two days without success. Above all, the bank is not capable of offering us visibility,” he laments to The essential.

Among customers, discontent is growing, some not hesitating to (already) demand “a commercial gesture”, like Romain*. “A few functions have returned, but not that of account agents,” he explains.

“Our teams are working to resolve the problem”

This Wednesday morning, BIL indicated in fact, proxy access on BILnet was not yet available. At 2:30 p.m., the bank noted that access would gradually become available once more. She invites her customers in difficulty to call the telephone service or go to an agency.

Among the other problems reported this Wednesday on BILnet, a delay in the display of instant payments, a problem displaying the order of transactions or even the details of missing payments. Regarding the BIL Payconiq application, customers may notice “a delay in displaying payments”. “Our IT teams are working hard to resolve the problems,” assures the BIL spokesperson.
