To answer these questions, the Chaudière-Appalaches Public Health Department invites you to discover the results obtained by the Assessment of Vulnerabilities to Climate Change in the Chaudière-Appalaches Region (VRAC Project).
Given the importance of climate change as a major threat to the health of the population, the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches aspires to contribute to improving the well-being of citizens through a sustainable development approach. This approach involves reflection with our partners and the population on the challenges of the region in order to identify solutions to undertake and their implementation. These actions aim to reduce the effects of climate change while improving the quality of life of our citizens, in a sustainable manner.
The CISSS works actively to equip municipalities to help them take concrete action in their environment and better prepare to fight once morest vulnerability to climate change. This report therefore constitutes the first in a series of tools intended for municipalities to guide them in implementing actions in their community.
