Valentina Norte Rural’s followingnoon was shaken this Tuesdayfollowing a group of Pitbull dogs attacked a family, causing serious injuries to a pregnant woman and her partner.
The attack occurred at 3 p.m. occasion where Daniela, 6 months pregnant, her partner Rodrigo and the 5-year-old child were on a piece of land, in Los Cerritos and Ainelen. The lot had recently been acquired by the family that was carrying out land preparation tasks.
Rodrigo Agüero spoke with RÍO NEGRO Diary and recounted the brutal attack they experienced. “We were cleaning the land that we recently bought, and from one moment to the next three or four pit bulls appeared, they pounced on my partner and I stood in the middle so they wouldn’t attack her, fortunately my 5-year-old boy was able to hide”said the young man who is recovering from several injuries.
“We mightn’t stop them, they were blinded, they hurt my wife’s wrist and one hand,” explained Rodrigo, who also suffered deep cuts on his arms and legs. Both had to be treated by the Neuquén Integrated Emergency System (SIEN) and transferred to the Horacio Heller hospital in western Neuquén.
The 24-year-old still has complications due to the depth of the wounds and recently discovered others that were not visible at the time of medical attention. «“He has wounds in his armpit and legs,” one of the relatives told this medium.
Regarding the origin of dogs, The family explained that they belong to a neighbor next to their land who also later approached the family.
“The owner of the dogs is upset and apologized to us for what he was going to do with the dogs.”said the injured man and explained that they made the relevant complaint.
