Filming for director Mirjam Unger’s Austro “Tatort” debut
Vienna (OTS) – While Harald Krassnitzer and Adele Neuhauser are busy watching “Peasant Death” in an ORF 2 premiere on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 8:15 p.m., their next “crime scene” is already waiting for them on the set. Since Tuesday, September 26th, the successful Austrian duo has been immersing themselves in one of the most successful but also most polarizing forms of music today in their latest case “Hurenkind” (AT). An aspiring Viennese rapper is found dead. His environment is teeming with suspects. Was it the label owner who was regarding to give away his driving force? The dead man’s best friend who was taken advantage of by him? Or someone completely different?
Until the end of October, Hubert Kramar, Christina Scherrer and Günter Franzmeier as well as Aleksandar Simonovski aka Yugo will be in Vienna (including in the Flex and in the Gasometer), alongside Harald Krassnitzer (in his 57th case) and Adele Neuhauser (in her 33rd case). , Murat Seven, Salka Weber, Edita Malovčić, Tobias Resch, Kiara Hollatko aka KeKe and Hary Prinz in front of the camera. Director Mirjam Unger, who in the past was responsible for “Suburban Women”, “Days That Didn’t Exist” and the country crime thriller “The Girl from the Mountain Lake”, as well as the screenwriters Franziska Pflaum and Samuel Deisenberger celebrate with “Hurenkind” ( AT) their “Tatort” debut. The film is scheduled to be shown on ORF 2 in 2024 – alongside the already filmed case “Your Loss”.

Ted Candy (Aleksandar Simonovski aka Yugo) is a rising star in the Viennese rap scene. Between flights of fancy and anxiety, he slides further and further into cocaine addiction. One day following he stopped his show in front of the audience and sped off on his motorcycle, he was found dead in a garage. When Moritz Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer) and Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser) begin to investigate this case, the circle of suspects quickly expands: there is, for example, Akman Onur (Murat Seven), who has already served a prison sentence for a violent act and runs a record label. This was recently financed almost exclusively by Ted’s success – who supposedly had ambitions to switch to another label. Or Ferdl Fuchs (Tobias Resch), the victim’s best friend since school, who was pretty much exploited by Ted. Moritz and Bibi immerse themselves in a strange world – a former subculture that has now become a megabusiness and which is regarding beats and reach, but also tragedies and crimes.
