Eliminated in the face-to-face once morest her friend Angélyk last season, Gabrielle Bouchard quickly knew that she wanted to come back in force at Revolution.

Her number, Sunday evening, even made Jean-Marc Généreux say that she had inestimable talent.

“It was important for me to come back,” she analyzed. I wanted to finish this chapter once and for all, I also wanted to go further than last year. »

This season, she decided to choreograph her numbers herself, and she did not want to hire a coach to help her in her process. “I took a lot of inspiration from what I saw in the past. I worked to improve and surpass myself, but I remained in a certain state of neglect. I didn’t want to lose my personality. Authenticity and vulnerability, that’s who I am and what I express through my dance. »

Still maintaining friendly ties with Angélyk, who served as an outside perspective for this first issue, Gabrielle was touched by the masters’ comments. “I think they realized that I am capable of doing a lot more than what they saw last year. I have grown up, I have become more mature and I also have a lot more experience. »

After Revolution, Gabrielle Bouchard has another dream, that of joining the Ballets Jazz Montréal troupe. She now knows that nothing is impossible.
